🎨 Iron Bridge Studio
Iron Bridge is a membership-based working studio created for artists who value both independence and community. It offers dedicated workspace, 24/7 access for members, and a shared environment where process is respected and creative practice is supported.
This is a space built with care — where artists can focus, grow, and connect naturally through shared experience. Classes, workshops, and private events further open the doors to learning and creative exploration.
🌿 Bramble & Burr
At the front of the studio, Bramble & Burr offers a beautifully curated collection of botanicals, pottery, paintings, prints, books, and small curiosities. The shop feels earthy, thoughtful, and quietly distinctive — a reflection of the creative spirit behind it.
From January through April, Bramble & Burr pauses their regular walk-in hours, so we encourage everyone to follow along on the Iron Bridge Studio page for updates and special opportunities.

🎭🍍 River Junctions Arts Council Brings The SpongeBob Musical to Wabasha! 🍍🎭
Get ready, Wabasha — Bikini Bottom is coming to town! 🌊✨
RJAC is bringing the high-energy, all-ages production The SpongeBob Musical to the Wabasha-Kellogg School District #811 Performing Arts Center — and it’s going to be bold, colorful, and full of heart.
This imaginative show celebrates resilience, friendship, and cooperation — values that mirror the spirit of Wabasha. By involving performers and volunteers of all ages, this production creates meaningful opportunities for creativity, connection, and shared storytelling right here in our community.
🎶 The score features music by an incredible lineup of artists including David Bowie, Sara Bareilles, John Legend, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At The Disco, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Plain White T’s, and They Might Be Giants, with a book by Kyle Jarrow and additional material by Tina Landau.
It’s contemporary, high-quality theatre rarely available in small communities — and it’s happening right here.

🚨 BIG WIN FOR W-K CTE! 🚨
The Wabasha-Kellogg School District #811 CTE Department just brought home 1st PLACE and a $10,000 FutureForward™ Impact Grant through the Minnesota Service Cooperative CTE Pathway Growth Initiative! 🎉💰
In just 5 minutes, CTE Instructor Tyler Heimermann pitched in front of nearly 90 attendees — alongside four other schools — and absolutely nailed it.
The winning idea? A School-Based Enterprise (SBE) where students won’t just sit in a classroom learning about business…
💼🔥 They’ll actually RUN one. 🔥💼
This program is all about:
✨ Real-world, resume-ready experience
✨ Strong partnerships with local businesses
✨ Clear pathways after graduation
✨ A student-run enterprise that generates revenue to grow even bigger opportunities
The $10,000 grant will fund equipment and startup materials to launch this exciting new initiative — and we can’t wait to see it in action!
This was a true team effort by the entire W-K CTE & Business Department, and it’s another incredible example of how our schools are preparing students for real careers right here in our community. 🙌
